Any Zippo pocket lighter, when returned to our repair clinic,
will be put in first class mechanical condition free of charge,
for we have yet to charge a cent for the repair of a Zippo
pocket lighter, regardless of age or condition. The finish,
however, is not guaranteed. This guarantee is additional
to your statutory rights under national law.
Windy has been one of Zippo‘s most
beloved icons since she was introduced in
1937, illustrating the new windproof lighter
in Zippo‘s first national advertisement.
Since that time, she has been depicted
in scores of advertisements, numerous
promotional pieces, and hundreds of Zippo
lighter designs from all over the world.
The 2013 Collectible of the Year celebrates
Windy with a whisper-thin emblem, remini-
scent of Zippo‘s early metallique process,
on a classic 1935 Replica lighter. Limited
to only 35,000 pieces worldwide, a dis-
tinctive bottom stamp introduces the seal
that authenticates this as a genuine Zippo
Limited Edition. Each lighter is packaged
in an attractive gift box with an embossed,
foil-stamped lid.
